Craxworthy: Rules for My Unborn Son
If you didn’t start reading Walker Lamond’s Tumblr 1001 Rules for My Unborn Son back before there were 400+ entries on it, here’s your chance to make up for it.

This is a seriously yellow book with a pair of serious statements - rules are not always the enemy, and be a gentleman. To that end, Mr. Lamond throws down rules like “You don’t get to choose your own nickname,” “If you are going to reinvent yourself, be original,” and “Never request a joke or an impression. They’re never as good on command” (of course, the inverse of this does NOT apply to you, comedian pals - your jokes are on point whether they’ve been requested or not).
The book’s main conceit is that these are rules Mr. Lamond has set forth for his then-unborn son, based in part on rules that his father lived by. But so much of the content here is applicable to everyone, across the board. We can all be gentlemen. We can all act like gentlemen, at least. Acting right is totally Craxworthy.
