Patch Update
Today I started my second box of Nicoderm patches, so I thought it might be a good time to reflect on not smoking. I don’t think it sucks any more. Cigarettes stink. They make me poor. They discolor my manicure.
Now I’m not going to say I NEVER want one, cause sometimes I do. Friday night I took off the patch and smoked three. And Saturday I paid for it - black lung, coughing, and my clothes stunk.
Overall though, not smoking > smoking. And seven more weeks on the patch will be a breeze, and then I’ll be a nonsmoker.
